New Recipe Idea For Your Weekly Menu: Pizza in a Bowl!
I just love having school-age kids in my program, because they are full of new ideas. This past summer, I observed a group of children looking through some cook books during our summer treats curriculum theme. I walked over to the children and asked, ” What are you guys looking at?” They showed me a picture of a bowl of pasta that was smothered in pizza sauce a pepperoni. It looked so delicious and then the kids asked, “Can we please have this for lunch someday?”
I asked one of the children to write down the recipe and I went to the store buy the ingredients for the recipe: Pizza in a Bowl. Moreover, this dish is now served in my program once a month and today I am going to share the recipe with you.
