Top Marketing tips For Child Care Business

I hope that your year is off to a great start. In fact, I am writing this blog post to encourage you to do something new with your marketing in 2022.

Take a moment to think about the results that you gained from last year’s marketing plan. Were you happy with the results? Do you desire to take your marketing to another level? If so, keep reading.

Last week, I checked out a local newspaper and I thought, this newspaper is mailed to thousands of homes and businesses in my neighborhood. Then I thought, it’s time to do something new with marketing my new center in Atlanta.

For the past 10 years, social media has been the only way that I marketed my center and now that we have a location in a new city, I want to do something different.

Moreover, I want to encourage you to kick off this new year with this thought in mind:

“If you want something different, you have got to do something different.”

Are you ready for increased enrollment? Do you desire to increase your business exposure? I’m sure that you do and that is why I wrote this blog post.

How Do You Standout from the Rest?

Stop worrying about your competition and focus on how you can standout from the rest!

Child Care is a very competitive Business, however, it is vital that you think like the Big corporations. In fact, its time that you find out what makes you different from the rest of the Child Care Businesses in your Community.

I just opened a new center in Atlanta. Also, when we found the building, we discovered there are many centers around us.

Once we opened the center and began doing tours, we have discovered that the parents in Atlanta pay very close attention to detail and they want to know what makes you special. In fact, they want an experience.

Knowing this, I have been inspired to take another look at he centers that are located near my center to see if we are truly standing out from the rest.

Something to think about….

Have you noticed that wherever you see a Walgreen’s, you may soon see a CVS Pharmacy or a competing pharmacy?

Furthermore, you may have noticed that on every major intersection in your community, you will find at least two gas stations? This Business principle is called: Clustering.

According to Bloomberg Business week, “Numerous studies show that on average, a business located in a cluster has a stronger growth and survival rate than those located outside it.” So don’t be concerned if you are located near a cluster of Daycare’s.

One week prior to writing this blog post, I decided to make a list of special details about my Center and I paid close attention to what made us different from other centers near us.

After making the list, I gave a copy of the list to my Center Directors and I reminded them to share those special details when they are doing tours.

Before you print more Business Brochures or add new content to your website, take some time to do your research and include (on your Brochures and your Website) how you to stand out From other Daycares in your Community!
