The Child Care Business Owner Blog celebrates 16 years online!
I started this blog in May 2010, because I was inspired to teach what I’ve learned as a child care provider. IZn fact, 16 years ago I had lots of questions about how to operare a childcare center and there were very few resources online.
So, I decided to blog about the businesss of childcare. Owning a childcare business can be challenging at times and this is why I love to share from my challenges and successes in the business of childcare.
Shortly before publishing this blog, my childcare business mentor ( Mary Krogmeir) said to me, you should be teaching others what you know. I thought she was out of her mind because I was so frustrated as a leader at that time. Perhaps I was frustrated because it was time for another level and she saw it.
My journey as a Family home childcare provider, a Center Owner & Director and managing multiple locations has been an inspiration for the Child Care Business Owner Institute.
Furthermore, over the years, I’ve coached many home providers and center owners through their business challenges, start- ups and expansions. Moreover, It is truly an honor when a childcare provider contacts me to be their business coach. In fact, when the readers of my blog contact me for coaching, I’m reminded that childcare business owners want a coach who has been where they want to go!
I pray that you hang in there and keep moving forward by Faith. As a Wise woman once told me, there are children who need your gift!
