💡 This’s Week’s Child Care Business Boost Tip:
The cost of insurance for child care business owners has increased tremendously. A recent conversation with an insurance agent inspired this week’s business boost tip. To be sure that your insurance rates are low and affordable, be sure to put measures in place that will keep your insurance rates at an affordable rate. Some of those measures could be:
-quality care check ins
– install onsite cameras
-reward staff who implement quality care
-Strive to stay in compliance with your local licensing agency
-Meet with your lead teachers to talk about how to improve the quality of care
Whatever you do, have measures in place to keep your insurance rates low.
📣 Enrollment Tip:
Consider offering a trial day to families who contact you for childcare. Offering a trial day will help parents to see if your childcare business is a good fit for their child. Choosing a childcare provider can be a tough decision for a parent. However, offering a trial day allows the parent to see how their child will respond to your childcare program. 👩🏽💼 Leadership Tip:
Be sure to show you team how much you care this week with your words or just small tokens of appreciation. People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.- John Maxwell
