Finish Strong: Day 7 Get Prepared For Licensing Visits

I want to inspire you to end the year by getting prepared for upcoming Licensing Visits.

Daycare licensing violations are public record and to be sure that you have very few or no violations, it is vital that you get prepared for your next state visit.

Here are 3 easy  ways for you to get prepared for your next Licensing visit:

  1. Check your last licensing compliance visit form and conduct your very own site inspection.
  2. Review all the children records to be sure that you have immunization records and physicals.
  3. Check your staff records for required training hours, updated back ground screenings, physical and PPD information on file.

If your Child Care Business is State Licensed, you are required by the Child Care statutes in your state to obtain annual training.

Have you and your team  met your Training requirements for 2015? This is the time to review your training  hours for 2015 and strive to get some last-minute training, so that you are not out of compliance on your next state visit.

Check the Child Care Aware Website for year-end training in your area!
