Helping childcare business owners build successful, sustainable businesses through practical strategies, real-life experience, leadership, faith, and encouragement.

Is your childcare business stagnate due to low enrollment, slow cash flow, or industry-wide challenges? Have you lost momentum or motivation to keep growing and building your childcare business? Understanding the root cause of the issues that you are facing today is the first step toward achieving business growth.

1.”Your daycare may not have an enrollment problem. You may have a marketing-message problem.” In a previous blog post, I shared with you how Chat GPT helped me to change my marketing message. In fact, changing my marketing message helped me to stand out from the rest of the child care businesses that are near my facility.

2. Low enrollment affects your cash flow, and this is why it is vital that you have daily enrollment activity that leads to phone calls, tours and enrollment.

3. The childcare industry is facing many challenges and one of the challenges is the fact that many parents can’t afford childcare. So, as you market your childcare business, it is vital that you market affordable rates. Now I am in no way saying that you must lower your prices. However, it is vital to consider this: Would you rather have a empty enrollment slot or offer a parent an enrollment special and increase your business income?

4. I can remember a season when my business was stagnated. In fact, I had to take a look at myself and one of the things that I noticed about myself was the fact that I had lost my momentum. This is when I realized that growth began with me. However, once I regained my motivation, I was determined to work on my daily enrollment building goals and even motivate my center director to be consistent with following up with parents that have contacted us for enrollment.

5. Are you ready to go from stagnate to growth? If yes, here are three things that you can do today:

You don’t have to figure out the childcare business alone.

I’ve been where you are.

I’ve been a family childcare provider, a center owner, a director, a leader of teams, and a multi-location owner.

I’ve made mistakes. I’ve learned. I’ve expanded. I’ve had to rebuild and grow.

Now I share what I’ve learned to help you build your childcare business!
