Meet Dr. Shiketa Morgan

My name is Dr. Shiketa Morgan and I am the Founder of the Child Care Business Owner Institute and the Executive Director of Learning Days- Atlanta.

I am Married ( 29 years), a mom, a grandmother, a business mentor to many and an Author. I have a Business Degree in Business Arts, with 30 semester hours of Early Childcare Education and on June 22, 2024, I received a Humanitarian Award and a Honorary Doctorate Degree from the Global International Alliance.

I created this blog because when I started my childcare business, I immediately became an aware of the struggles that came along with operating a Child Care Business. Once I mastered certain aspects of operating the business, I was inspired to teach. However, I am also thankful for the mentors that came into my life and gave me wisdom.

In fact, once my mentor coached me to success, she inspired me to coach others to success! In 2010, I was inspired to start this blog and inspire other Child Care Business Owners to build Quality Successful Child Care Businesses and to inspire Business growth. Most of all, inspire Child Care Business owners to grow as leaders, because as you grow, your business grows!

I have been a Child Care Business Owner for 25 years now and my years of experience as a Child Care Business Owner has inspired me to start this blog and share proven success strategies.

    After hitting road block after road block attempting to start a Childcare Center, I became discouraged until I found Mrs. Morgan. After reading her story about her Childcare Expansion journey I was fascinated. Words can’t express the gratitude I have for her as she so graciously and selflessly is walking me through the start-up process. Without her I don’t know where I would be. I look forward to seeing her beautiful smiling face every visit. She brightens my day with her wisdom, professionalism and her Godly counsel. No question is every unanswered or insignificant.     Good Morning! I just wanted to say that I just found your site yesterday and I am extremely happy that I did. I have been praying for awhile now asking God which direction should I go. Should I expand from my home daycare to a center or not. I’ve been discouraged on several occasions but after finding this site I feel empowered to do so. My faith has been strengthened in just a matter of minutes because I feel you are so relatable. Thank you so very much for the information you are providing, for being a vessel of the Lord! I will be glued to this site in every way I can!
