Tips For Building a Successful Home Day Care
I quit my job as a Medical Assistant 26 years ago to open a Home Daycare. In fact, when I opened my home daycare, I was so nervous, because I had very little training in childcare. I was simply obedient to the divine idea of opening a childcare business and I am so glad that I did.
I operated my family home childcare business for four years and in those four years, I enrolled in a local college and started taking some early childhood classes. Along with taking college classes, I began to study the Creative curriculum book and I bought a Child Care Business Management book.
Back in 1999, there weren’t many books on how to effectively run a home-based childcare business, however, what I learned, I applied it and outgrew my home-based business in four years.
This blog is inspired on what Ive learned in the business of Child Care. In fact, I share with you so that you do not have to go through many of the frustrations that I went through operating a childcare business.
