I love this time of the year. In fact, at the end of every year for the past 25 years, I love to plan lots of fun holiday events for my team.
In fact, one of the things that I notice at this time of the year is the fact that my staff is excited to come to work, because they know I have something fun planned for them.
As I write this blog post, we are kicking off the first week of December and I have several fun events planned for the staff and the families.
Moreover, I am writing this post to share with you three team building ideas, that will most definitely boost morale and bring some excitement to your team.
- Plan a fun Christmas Party for your team. Consider hosting a party at a local restaurant or having the party catered by a local restaurant and have the party at your facility. Be sure to do a staff gift exchange, play fun games and have lots of fun.
- Have a Christmas door decorating contest. My staff loves this contest. They go all out, and this is the time of year, when I can truly see how creative they are! Have a parent to judge the doors and give the winner a prize such as a gift basket, gift card, etc.
- Invite the staff to wear a Holiday related t-shirt or sweater every Friday during the holidays and take lots of photos to show off your team spirit on social media.
Thats just of few of my ideas and I don’t want to overwhelm you with too many ideas. So, what do you think about the ideas above? How do you plan to make this holiday season an exciting time for your staff?
