Inspirational and Empowering Child Care Business Owners To Build Successful Child Care Businesses

I’ve been building my Childcare business for over 25 years. If I can be honest, it has been a journey full of fun exciting days and a few not so joyful days.

Building a successful Childcare business takes a ton of hardworking, dedication and inspiration. Furthermore, it took me many years to learn that I needed a hobby to take my mind away from the stresses of the business. So, I started gardening.

Gardening inspires my journey as a business owner and just like gardening, when I see the harvest from the seeds I’ve planted, I share some of my harvest with others.

Gardening inspires my business Journey in the following ways:

  1. It’s a great way to destress at the end of a busy day.
  2. I gain divine insight as I pull weeds, prune bushes, water my garden and as I cut back overgrown bushes
  3. I learn the importance of being intentional about the seeds I plant and the patience that I gain as I wait on the seeds to grow.
  4. Most of all, the expectation that I have after planting seed, causes me to Stay in expectation mode!

Today I am going to share some insight that I received from my garden on yesterday as I checked on the cucumber seeds that I planted back in April. click here.

A knock at my door yesterday inspired me to write this blog post. In fact, that knock at the door also inspired me to check my attitude as a leader.

Moreover, that knock at the door also inspired me to ask myself a question, Am I going after what I really want for my Child Care Business?

Some recent issues in the business had me feeling frustrated and exhausted emotionally. Some of those issues included: Unmet expectations, a recent water leak that closed the business for a few days, a teacher suddenly quitting, and this left me focused on several issues at one time.

As a childcare center owner, I know firsthand that this business can be complicated and comes with many issues sometimes. However, I have found that my attitude about a situation could make the issue seem small or BIG. Moreover, I have discovered that if I am determined to get through an issue and I’m optimistic, I am able to get the outcome that I desire.

Furthermore, I have found that having a positive mindset about getting what you want will never drain your energy. However, having a negative mindset about issues will drain your energy and leave you frustrated.

Are you facing any issues right now and you feel frustrated? Are you getting what you really want in the business of childcare? This just may be the blog post that could change the trajectory of your business and change your mindset as a Child Care Business Owner/Leader.

Yesterday, I met a woman that inspired me to go after what I want with a positive attitude, and I want to share that experience with you. Click here
