Dreaming of Owning Multiple Locations?

Do you dream of owning multiple locations? Are you feeling a desire to expand your currently childcare business? If so, it is time for you to evaluate what is stopping you from moving forward.

In 2010, I had a desire to operate multiple locations. The only thing that stopped me was the fact that I did not feel prepared to take on a larger facility. So, I furthered my education in the areas of marketing and business finance.

Once I gained the knowledge that I needed and with lots of preparation, I expanded the business and successfully operated multiple locations with an amazing team.

Operating multiple locations taught me a lot about the importance of creating systems, building an amazing team, investing in your leadership team and what comes with growth.

Let me ask you a question? What’s stopping you? I want to you challenge you to take a moment and write down what you believe is stopping you. In fact, I want to inspire you to work on living your dream and face what is stopping you.

3 Things That You Must Do As You Grow or Start-up Your Business

In 2013, I declared that 2014 would be the year that I would grow my Business. In fact, the opportunity to expand came to me in August 2014.

When the opportunity to expand presented itself  to me, I was very hesitant to look at the building. However, I knew that if I did not go look at the building; I just might miss my opportunity.

In a previous blog post, I shared with you that I signed the lease to my new location on October 1, 2014. Moreover, twenty-two days into the expansion I realized this: If I want to take my business to another level, I must do the following:

  • Work on my mindset
  • Have laser like focus
  •  Change my words

Do you desire to grow your Child Care Business in the near future? Are you thinking about starting a Child Care Business?

If so, I want to share with you three steps that you must take, in order to develop a growth mindset:

1.Work on Your Mindset. Your mindset will either help or hinder your Business Success. In fact, your mindset has brought you to this point in your Business. So, if you want to do something different or bigger; you must think on a different level.

How do you get a different mindset? Read personal development books, attend Business seminars, hang around people who think bigger than you, watch personal development or Business Success videos on YouTube. Your Business will only rise to the level of your mindset. It’s time to think on a different level!!

2. You must have…. Laser like Focus. As you are growing your Business, there will be distractions and it is vital that you plan your time effectively. You can plan your day effectively by creating a daily or weekly to do list for your Business Growth or Start-up.

If you do not plan your time well; you will waste time and have many unproductive days. As of September 1, 2014, I created a  90-day expansion plan and I have very little time to waste. So every day, I focus on 3 top priorities until the tasks are complete.

3. Change Your Words. God has created us all with the power to shape our lives with our words. I challenge you to choose your words carefully as you grow or start-up your Business. I have seen the positive and the negative effects from the words that I have spoken out of my mouth. That is why, I challenge you to speak words of growth, increase and blessings over your Business.

If you feel the need to complain, sing a song or cover your mouth. Negative words will only hinder your Business Growth or Start-up process. Whatever you want to see manifest in your Business, that is what you want to speak out of your mouth.
