Inspirational and Empowering Child Care Business Owners To Build Successful Child Care Businesses

marketing

I believe that we must be consistent when it comes to marketing a Business. In fact, what you do consistently, will bring you consistent results!

Have you ever stopped by a local business and then they asked you to like their Facebook?

Then when you checked out their Facebook page or any of their social medial sites; you found that they had not posted on their pages in a while.

Moreover, I believe that inconsistent marketing is an indicator that the Business does not have a strategic marketing plan. Most of all, if you fail to market consistently, you will lose your online followers.

Today I want to share with you, 5 easy ways to consistently Market your Child Care Business Online:

  1. Develop a plan for what your Facebook post will be for each day of the week. For example: only Monday, I consistently post the following status: We are looking forward to another week full of fun and learning! Then I share a link to my website: http://www.learningdays.com
  2.   On your Business Facebook page, there is an option to schedule post. You can also use a Free app called, Hootsuite to link all your social media sites and schedule post.
  3. Be sure to consistently post photos of the children engaged in activities every day. This is a great way to keep  parents coming back to your Facebook page. Also, your Facebook post with the highest views, are great to use for Facebook ads. A Facebook ad could increase your page views and it may only cost you up to $10. Bonus Tip: Be sure to use hash tags in your post. For example: #nowenrolling #preschool #infantcare #Yourschoolname
  4. Check your Facebook messages daily. I find that parents will message you over facebook, before they call you. So be prepared to share pricing information via a facebook message or simply invite the parents to call you to schedule a tour if you prefer not to interact via facebook  messages.
  5. Post upcoming events on your Facebook (at least once a week); for those parents that forget to read your newsletters. Furthermore, if a parent likes your event on facebook or  joins your Event, other parents will see their activity on facebook.

I know this marketing plan may seem like a lot at first, however, if you take 5-10 minutes a day to work the marketing plan above, I am very certain that you will see results!!

Image result for enrollment building daycareI believe that every Child Care Business owner shares one common goal: We want a Child Care Business That is filled to Capacity!

When your Child Care Business is struggling to build enrollment, this leads to financial  hardship. In fact, when your enrollment is low, it has a major impact on your Budget.

Furthermore, if your Child Care Business is filled to capacity, you are able to pay your bills, pay your staff and do the things that you dream of doing for your Child Care Business.

Today I want to share with you 3 easy ways to Build Enrollment in your Child Care Business.

  1. Word of Mouth. If your families love your program, they will be more than happy to tell their family and friends about your Child Care Business. I have not spent any money on marketing my Center since 2015, because the parents in my Child Care Program, consistently spread the word about my Center and I am so grateful for that. So, if you have openings in your child care business, the next time that you talk to your parents, invite the parents to tell their family and friends about your program.
  2. Location, Location, Location. I can not express this enough; location is everything when it comes to building enrollment. Is your child care business easily seen? Is it easily accessible?  Are you easy to find? If you answered no to any of the previous questions, your location could be impacting your enrollment. In fact, I have discovered that when a Child Care Business is not in the Best location, you will spend more money marketing the Business to get more families to come to you! Moreover, if you are in the market to start a Child Care Business or Expand, be sure to do your demographics on the location.
  3. Market Your Child Care Business Online. Google is the new phone book and it is vital that when parents google the word childcare, your child care business comes up in their google search. So be sure that your Child Care Business has on online presence on Facebook, Instagram and a Website that has up to date information about your Child Care Business.
