The Business of Childcare Book

I am writing a new book and the book is titled, The Business of Childcare.

Out of all the books that I have written and published; this book is truly a special edition because it was written with 25 years of building a childcare business in mind.

Furthermore, I decided to publish this book because I have learned so much in the past 25 years and I want to share with those childcare business owners that are coming behind me on this childcare business Journey.

“This is not an easy Journey and any insight that you can get, helps a great deal.”

My twenty-eight-year-old daughter Chasity wrote the forward to the book and I can hardly wait for you to read it.

I asked Chasity to write the forward to my new book because she has been on the Journey with me since she was three years old, and she is now on my management team.

My New book is written with three words in mind:

  1. Faith
  2. Quality
  3. Family

I believe that it takes faith to start and to build a childcare business. In fact, I also believe that quality care must be a top priority in a childcare business. Most of all, Connecting with Families must also be the core of the business, because I believe we exist to support the families.

My New book is expected to be released on Monday February 19, 2024 and it will be available in eBook form and as a paperback copy sold on Amazon.

May This year bring you lots of good success with lots of Joy and Laughter!

Setting Goals Attracts What Your Business Needs

I was scrolling through old memories on my Facebook Page and as I looked back at the photo above. As I looked at the photo above, I realized that setting goals attracts what you desire for your Business!

Nine years ago on this day, I was desiring to have 40 children enrolled in my Child Care Center and that same year Learning Days doubled in capacity by moving into a bigger location.

In fact, on 1/4/14 my facility was licensed for 40 children and I only had 30 children enrolled.

In August 2014, I found a facility that was 3 times the size of my current facility. We moved into that new location on December 1, 2014!

By the Summer of 2015, that new location had over 90 children enrolled with a waiting list and today my second location has over 40 children.

I challenge you today to write down your goals for your business and post them.

Your goals will not only attract what you need, but they will lead you to Business Growth!

With your Business in Mind!
