How to Build a Winning Child Care Team

Creating a winning team is a vital part of providing quality child care care.

In fact, a winning team starts with having a great coach, “The Director.” You are the coach of the team and you call all the plays. When you fail to call plays, the team does not know which way to go.

It is your role to communicate with the team on a regular basis and make sure that all the players are doing their part on the team, because what one player does not do, affects the entire team.

Teamwork is birthed

When you concentrate on

Tips for Building a Winning Team

  • Stay focused on the Big Picture…your center’s goal
  • Be sure that your staff members are positioned where they have the most value
  • Deal with the weak links…immediately
  • Inspire your staff to make things happen
  • Give your staff direction and confidence
  • Keep bad apples by themselves, if possible or get rid of them
  • Hold staff members accountable
  • Communicate…Communicate and interact!
  • Keep the morale high by having fun
  • Promote unity with social gatherings
  • Reward your staff for their efforts
  • Show them you care and challenge them to be the best

Preparing To End The Business Year Strong

How has this business year treated you? Have you met any of the goals that you have set? Did you get the same results that you had last year?

Are you ready to take your Child Care Business to another Level? Ready for Expansion? Ready for something new?

Whatever your answers may be, I want to encourage you to take some time to reflect on what you have accomplished this year.

Moreover, I want to encourage you to focus on finishing this Business year strong!

If you have been following my blog for at least 3 years, you already know that I love to inspire my blog readers to finish the year strong and come into the new business year with a new mindset.

Here are 5 ways to finish this year strong and come into 2020 with fresh insight and a clear vision:

  1. Reflect on what you have accomplished this year and celebrate.
  2. Set your goals now for 2020 and be intentional about your goals.
  3. Build your book reading list now for 2020, because Your Business will only rise to the level of your knowledge. You can start with creating a widh list on Amazon.
  4. Get Feedback from your staff and parents and make necessary improvements.
  5. Create that Vision board for 2020 and keep it before you to hold you accountable!
